This handmade pair of statement earrings features rare native copper dangles that hang inside 14K gold-filled hoops. They measure 1 7/8" in diameter and weigh approximately 9.8 grams each (0.35 oz). Gold-fill provides a much thicker layer of gold than gold-plated and should not wear off with proper care.
Native copper is an uncombined form of copper that occurs as a natural mineral. Basically, it's what copper looks like as it comes out of the ground. Cool, huh? Copper is one of the few metallic elements to occur in native form.

As with all handmade jewelry, this piece is delicate and should not be worn during strenuous activity or in water. Please take care to remove it while swimming, bathing, washing hands, playing sports, etc. and avoid applying oils and lotions while wearing it.
